Would I Do It Again?
Would
I do it again? Knowing what I
now
know, if the clock could be turned back to when Kristin
originally called me from China and asked me to help her as she can't get the
demon out of herself and has nobody else to turn to, would I still get involved?
Even if a non-believer asks a Christian to cast a demon out of her, a Christian is obliged to cast out that demon in the name of Jesus, who said: "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons" (Mark 16:17).
If a Christian makes that request to another Christian, there is even more reason to help: "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith" (Galatians 6:10). And if a wounded Christian missionary - a frontline soldier for Christ - makes that request, there is all the more reason to help.
A Christian has no choice but to heed the call for help from another Christian, let alone a wounded frontline Christian soldier, so had I known when she originally called what I now know, I still would have no choice but to help her.
