Spiritual Fight

Spiritual FightWhen this phase of the spiritual fight began, Kristin initially was so weak that she sometimes had to be supported to even walk. As the weeks passed, her motor coordination improved; when out in public now, she seemed fine for the most part.

In the privacy of her room, however, she made more noise or let the demons make more noise. They always made the blood-curdling guttural noise when commanded to come out. Other times, the demons acted up first to trigger the fight.

As the spiritual fight continued, Kristin began to have more and more flashbacks not only of her father raping her but both her father and mother doing bizarre things to her. When what she was made to wear, where she was taken to, and what was done to her were searched online, they pointed to 'Satanic ritual abuse' and her father being a Satanist and/or a warlock, and her mother being at least a witch.

Kristin had no memory of willingly joining in their rituals but we had many rounds of sessions in which she renounced, repented, broke the bonds with, and asked God to forgive and cleanse her from anything that she may have been forced into that involved Satanism, witchcraft or anything else occult.

And Kristin was dealing with demons not just inside her but also around her. Humans typically cannot see the spiritual realm. 2 Kings 6:17 mentions the Lord opening the eyes of a young man in response to Elisha's prayer so that he can visualize the spiritual realm around him.

As the spiritual fight continued, Kristin could see the demons around her. The country where we were staying in worshipped demons and the serpent like nowhere else I had visited. The corners of the roofs of all traditional buildings had the tail of the serpent sticking out to indicate that the building houses the body of the serpent, whose image was ubiquitous on monuments, statues, towers, bridges, etc.

The locals also believed that unless the demons are given a house of their own, they enter the house where humans live and bother them. So every house had a miniature house just outside of it for the demons to live in. Every morning, the locals put food, drinks, even coffee in front of these demon houses for the demons to supposedly consume, and in this country of abject poverty, those food and drinks remained untouched by the passersby.

Sometimes, when Kristin and I were riding in a tuk-tuk and nearing a corner, she would feel spiritual pressure and say that there is big demon house just around the corner. The tuk-tuk would turn the corner, and sure enough, there would be an extra large demon house.

Once when I was reading the Bible to her at a café by the river, Kristin said that she can see the demons in the area gather in a swarm over us and freak out at the word of God being read in their midst. She could also see demons inside people.

Just hearing about demons around me and in the people whom we met and sometimes talked to was unpleasant and stressful for me. Constantly seeing them, as Kristin saw, must have been so much more unpleasant and stressful.
