Indian Pastor
Two
months thereafter, Kristin finally replied that she is fine, has
been living in a nice private room at a Christian center for women that looked
like it had been a luxury hotel a century ago. She had good wifi and had been using it to continue to teach
the children in China. She said she received all of my messages but had been
busy corresponding with an Indian pastor in India who contacted her on Facebook,
wanted her to go to India to marry him and have a ministry rescuing children
there.
I was glad that she is alive and safe but upset that she had for two months read and ignored my countless messages asking her to confirm her safety and well-being. But who was this Indian pastor with whom she had been flirting? I knew nothing about him but knew India, where many men consider raping women to be their cultural right, to be perhaps the most dangerous place in the world for a young woman.
One of the things that I always appreciated about Kristin was her conservative theology. We never had disputes about theology because ours matched.
So I was all the more surprised when a quick search online pulled up the Indian pastor's website and videos that proved him to be an easily recognizable heretic. In one video of a "crusade," for example, he preached the prosperity false gospel, and then gave an alter call. When only one person in the audience of Hindus stood up, he told everyone with "a pair of legs" to stand up, and then declared that everyone in the room is now saved and a Christian because they had "a pair of legs" and had stood up.
So I emailed and then called the Indian pastor, and told him that he is a heretic, a false prophet and a wolf in sheep’s clothing who needs to stop trying to lure Kristin to India. Upon hearing that, he threw off his sheep’s clothing and began to cuss at me. I shouted him down but did not cuss back at him. He hung up the phone but later sent me an email in which he called me a "bitch," a "bastard," and told both me and Kristin to go to hell. But my call had its intended effect as he repeated three times that he no longer wants Kristin to come to India so I was not to contact him again.
I forwarded the Indian pastor's email to Kristin, along with his video and other evidences, and expected her to express both shock and gratitude for having been protected from a wolf in sheep's clothing. Instead, she got upset with me, contacted him again, and cut off communication with me, all because he had dangled marriage in front of her. I told her to just stay in USA and marry at least just an average self-declared "Christian" instead of going to India, where she was far more likely to get raped, to marry a wolf who had thrown off his sheep's clothing.
